Summary

Although Florida enacted Constitutional Carry, that only applies to concealed weapons. Florida law does not protect the right to open carry (the only other states which also ban this are New York, Illinois, and California). GOA and GOF are suing the state of Florida because the right to keep and bear arms does not make a distinction whether the firearm being carried is concealed or in the open.
