Students may also contact legislators to request public officials to pass legislation to enforce campus carry in the state rather than leave it optional.
Students could be charged with a Class C misdemeanor for violation of Code of Alabama Title 13A Chapter 11 Section 61.2, resulting in up to $500 in fines and 3 months of jail time.
