Summary

This case is GOA and GOFs' lawsuit to stop New Jersey's ban on hollow-point ammuntion. According to state law (N.J.S.A. § 2C:39-3(f)) no person in the state of New Jersey may possess self-defense ammunition in common use for both handguns and long guns. The Second Amendment includes ammunition as a part of what is protected and an infringement on the ammunition is an infringement on the right as a whole.
